Our bass player, Rob Lane, has a birthday
coming up in December (we won't tell which one, but it's a big one)!
He's celebrating with a jam session at the Young Men's Club in West
Terre Haute on Sunday, December 11, starting around 2:00 p.m. (or
earlier if enough musicians are there to start playing). No need
to bring gifts, just come on out, wish him a happy birthday, and stay
for the party!

Our drummer, Rick Waggoner, has left the
band to pursue other interests. Randy Winkler, who had been
filling in for Rick when he had to be away, has agreed to join the band
full-time. Please come out and welcome Randy to the band!

The Mirage Band is hosting a benefit for
our former keyboard player, Dennis Sickler, after the passing of his
wife. It will be held on Sunday, February 27, starting about 12:30
at the Riley American Legion. Dennis has spent many years
entertaining audiences in the Wabash Valley, and has donated many hours
of his time playing benefits for those in need. This is our chance
to give back to him in his time of need.

We are pleased to announce that one of our

The Mirage Band has been one of the the
hardest working bands in the Wabash Valley for the past few years.
Most members perform with the band in addition to a full time job
elsewhere, and the toll of being on the road for so long without
sufficient rest has taken a toll. If you look at our schedule for
this year and notice that it is not as full as in the past, this is
being done purposefully to give ourselves a chance to recover mentally
and physically.
However, please be assured that we will be performing regularly, and we
look forward to seeing you whenever we play.
